Pique's Rumored Move To Colombia Strongly Influenced By His Love For Shakira.

All for the sake of love, and the quest for a healthy relationship, Barcelona defender Gerard Pique is considering concluding his football playing days at Colombia. Colombia is the native home of his love Shakira. Usually, players move to lower league clubs and attain a low profile, till they end their playing days finally by bowing out silently. In the case of Pique, his dearest partner has been a strong influence where the footballer would end his career.

During the Defenders interview with Periscope right after Barca's victory over Sevilla, which concluded 2-1 in favor of Barcelona. Pique was able to verify lots of pressing questions in need of answers. This included questions about former team mate Fabregas who now plays for Chelsea FC,  and also his rumored move to Colombia. He said;

"I don't know, we'll see what happens in the future. I'd like to sample another league when I'm nearing retirement; I don't know if that might be in the US or South America. It'd be nice for it to be Colombia for 'Shaki', but no one can tell what will happen in the future"
