As posted on Live leak, a man in Kentucky who was heart broken and love rejected as a result of dispute in his relationship with his partner, decided the end his own life in the most gruesome manner possible by setting himself on fire. Major Joe Madden who happened to be off duty as a firefighter and was at the scene of the incident coincidentally, quickly raced towards the heart broken man to put out the inferno thereby sustaining burn injuries himself in the process.
The identity of the man who lit himself on fire was not disclose. Also the Mayor of Lexington posted a tweet to recognize Madden's bravery, wishing him a quick recovery from his injuries.
