[PHOTOS] Husband Attacks Wife With Acid Over Little Argument In Bangladesh

Another case of violence against women. 25 year old Tarina Parvin , based on a petty argument with her husband, became a victim of acid bath. She suffered severe burns to her face, upper arms and and most parts of her upper body. She was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Bangladesh  after people heard her wail in agony when after she was attacked by her husband at 8:00pm on her way for devotional prayers.

So far Tarina Parvin is just 1 in 3625 people that have been surveyed and recorded to be acid bath victims in Bangladesh alone. Females take the greater statistic of 1847, 901 for males and 877 children were not left out of the equation for violence.

Violence against women have tremendously increased in Bangladesh, and the use of Acid as an cheap,  easy and effective means of maiming,  continue to be a tool by individuals who wish to cause severe havoc to their victims.
