John Hopkins Hospital To Conduct First Surgical P*nis Transplant On Soldier In US

Dr Richard Reddet would be conducting an innovative surgery, that years back it would have been seen as an unspeakable impossibility. The Doctor who specializes in plastic surgery would be performing a penis transplant better known a penis replacement surgery on a United States soldier who was severely wounded during the War at Afghanistan.

Other surgeries such as the seperation of cojoined twins and the human heart defibrillator have been performed at the reputed John Hopkins hospital. This penis transplant would be recorded in history as the first US penis transplant. Two other countries have conducted this type of  surgery and they are:

China in 2006 which turned out unsuccessful
South Africa 2014 which turned out successful

As detailed by Reuters:

Doctors and experts on the field have said this surgery could be followed up with severe emotional trauma especially for those with the intention to father children or have a normal dating relationship.

Doctor Reddet told Reuters:
"When you meet these guys and you realize what they've given for the country, it makes a lot of sense,"
The testicles of the soldier would not be tampered with during the surgical procedure to give him the opportunity to have children. The surgery is scheduled to hold in a few weeks time.
