Gender choice has always been an issue most especially with the LGBT community, where Transgenders are singled out and criticized for gender alteration after being born with their initial biological features.
Another gender crisis fast becoming controversial is the issue of choosing a child's gender before birth using altenative means of child birth. Society and religion being man's great influence when it comes to morality frowns at this.
Just recently Christy Teigen who is married to singer John Legend was interviewed by People's magazine where she confirmed she had fertility issues and had to undergo IVF as an alternative means, and with this process, she claimed that she picked out the child's sex. She said;
"Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, 'Let's put in the girl,'"While some individuals didn't see anything wrong with her choices, other heavily criticized her move called her selfish and would rather she had adopted than using artificial means to conceive. Some described her forth coming child as a science project/ artificial baby via social media. Christy fired back and various views were exchanged :
