Zika Virus Could Also Be Spread Through Sex - Scientific Research

 If you've never heard of the Zika virus, its a virus that causes neurologically malformed and underdeveloped brain formation in new born babies which is spreading at a quiet alarming rate throughout the Americas. After much  research, scientist recently are of the opinion that the virus can also be spread through sexual intercourse and the usual symptoms to watch out for are fever, headache conjunctivities and rash but symptoms usually varies with different individuals.

The Virus  is quiet known in Brazil but presently the virus has invaded 21 countries  through the Carribean and Latin America. Also discoveries have been made known that thesame mosquitoe which is a carrier of several lethal diseases like yellow fever, chikungunya and dengue fever could also be a carrier of the zika virus. The Zika virus was said to have been discovered in the semen of a Tahiti man, at which it was believed he passed the virus onto his wife. The World Health Organization has also issued a statement, saying research evidence on the sexual transmission of the virus is still inconclusive
