Women never listen and learn lessons from the women before them, that fighting over a man is absolutely not worth the strenght. When you see your man cant control his hormones by having an affair, you move on. its a free world and you cant be critisized for changing men also. The other reason may just be that they got alot to loose if they let go of that man at that point in time. Maybe its the financial gains attached to having such a man or just pure love. The solution is to be independent.
