Apologies Are Vital In Dating And Relationships

Generally and especially during relationships misunderstandings, a lot of people don't like to apologize or even the very mention of it. Most people see this as a sign of weakness despite the fact that apologizing when at fault is regarded and a sign of strength and improves communication and breaks the relationship barrier between parties involved but rather, a lot of people see this as the weak sign and admittance of guilt.

Not apologizing strains the relationship even further and might even cause more damage.
But why is this so. Why would some individual never say sorry  but prefer to show signs of remorse?

• Apology is an admission of guilt, shame and even make us feel more remorseful for the wrong we have done as believed.

• People also feel that when they Infact say sorry, it would lead to further accusations and dissection of their wrong doings, and some people would use the apology as an opportunity to expose their further wrong deeds.

• People also feel that saying sorry during a dispute, that they are fully responsible for everything they have been accused of and the other party and 100% not guilty and immune from giving any form of apologize as a result of the dispute

• Some individuals don't like the feeling of vulnerability, weakness and guilt. They would rather not lower their guards and apologize so as not to be pin pointed for weakness in the future.

Apologies are very therapeutic, they build trust and stronger bond between individuals, strengthens relationships and greatly improves trust among partners. If you are ready to risk your relationship into further damage, knowing that you're absolutely guilty instead of simply saying "sorry", maybe the relationship wasn't worth that much in the first instance.

Let go of pride, shame, guilt and the feeling that apologizing puts the entire blame on you. Simply say sorry and move on. It really doesn't matter if the other party accepts of not . In the end you would realize that a great load has been taken off your shoulders and you are at absolute peace with yourself.
