Frank Guerra 22 from California was been accused of allegedly locking up his girlfriend for four months , with the most inhumane treatments administered to her during the whole period of her captivity. He abused her physically and constantly smeared her with dogs excrement. This lasted between September 20, 2015 to January 4th 2016.
The identity of his girlfriend has been protected, but she revealed to authorities that she was usually locked in a cage designed for dogs for hours anytime he was off for work. She was also forced to relieve herself in the dog's bowl left for her in the cage.
The lady was able to escape captivity, but refused to report to authorities fearing her safety until Frank once again renewed his threats. Frank was charged for kidnapping, physical and psychological abuse, which would permanently scar her.
Frank pleaded not guilty as charged and is due to appear before courts on Monday. He has also been denied bail to ensure physical contact with the victim is not possible till a verdict is reached. As reported by Modesto Bee:
