Ancient Condom Made From Sheep's Intestine Auctioned For £462 Online.

ancient sheep intestine condom

It just may surprise you to know that condoms actually existed in the middle ages. The materials used to derive them were goat, pig, sheep, and calves gut or intestine . Currently, few of the original condoms made during that era, still exists and they go for an exorbitant sum, and currently selling for £ 462 online on Auction.

The Condom auctioned by the online site called Catawiki, is believed to be as old as 18th - 19th century and 19 cm in length, was very difficult to make hence it's exorbitant sum, only affordable for the rich.  Of course this was way back before the invention of cheap rubber condoms.
